We would greatly appreciate your support with our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at one of the levels described herein. Since 1994, the Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation began to document all aspects of the contributions African Americans has made to the maritime and seafood processing industries in the Chesapeake Bay region. This history is an integral part of this area’s rich culture and heritage.This event is the major fundraiser for our Foundation, and we need at least one title sponsor at $5,000.00, with other levels of support as low as $150.00. Monies raised from this event provide unrestricted operating funds, and [3] three cash or technology scholarships for High School & College Students pursuing STEM-related careers. The amount of these awards is based on the success of our fundraising efforts.This year also allows us to simultaneously celebrate our founder, Vince Leggett’s, 70th Birthday!! A Fish Fry and Dance Party will follow the tournament and depending on your level of Sponsorship you will be awarded tickets to this great celebration!!
