A NIght at Carr's Beach
Fundraiser to Support African American Land Conservation and Heritage
Elktonia-Carr's Beach, a historical black beach in Annapolis, Maryland, was a vacation and entertainment destination for many African American families throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Last year, Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation successfully saved the last 5 acres of the property. This fundraiser will support site improvements, planning and interpretation to preserve the rich history of this iconic place for future generations.
